Clinical Documentation Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a busy Australian medical clinic. This is a remote, part-time role ideal for someone highly organised, responsive, and comfortable working with medical documentation and systems.

Role Overview:

You will play a key role in supporting doctors and ensuring smooth administrative operations. The position involves document preparation, follow-ups, patient file management, and light communication tasks.

Schedule:

Mondays to Fridays, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (flexible within client business hours, 20 hours per week—depending on business needs)

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-fill template documents using information from completed questionnaires
Manage and action follow-up requests from doctors (primarily via email), including:
Obtaining missing ultrasound or medical reports
Sending completed documents to patients or medical partners
Conduct light outbound phone calls when required
Maintain and update patient files in the Cliniko practice management system
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly stored
Keep clear and organised digital records
Requirements:

Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Close attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in administrative or medical support roles preferred
Comfortable using practice management systems (experience with Cliniko is an advantage)
Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
Reliable internet connection and quiet home workspace
Additional Information:

You will only be paid for approved and worked hours
The client will provide access to the required software and tools

Side Note:

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
