Job Description: You’ll become an integral part of a growing beauty business, handling the operational backbone that keeps two salon locations running smoothly. This role offers incredible variety – no two days will be the same as you tackle everything from customer interactions to behind-the-scenes admin work. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the beauty industry while directly contributing to business growth and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week), flexible during client business hours

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer service inquiries and Instagram message responses
  • Handle booking system updates and appointment scheduling
  • Update treatment pricing across salon management systems
  • Prepare and organize course materials and educational content
  • Conduct research on beauty industry trends and topics
  • Post pre-created social media content across platforms
  • Manage inbox organization and calendar coordination
  • Support general administrative tasks and data entry
  • Handle ad hoc operational projects as business needs evolve

Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills for customer-facing interactions
  • Experience with social media platforms, especially Instagram
  • Proficiency with booking systems and administrative software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service experience in any industry
  • Bonus if you have beauty industry knowledge or interest
  • It helps if you’re comfortable learning new systems quickly
  • Reliable internet connection for remote work

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
